Group Termination Agreement
This letter is my understanding that you will no longer retain my services to manage and arrange your destination wedding in Puerto Vallarta at the Riu Jalisco Resort. January 13-20, 2023. With this notification, we comply with the terms and conditions as required by our original agreement.
AS A DESTINATION WEDDING SPECIALIST MY ROLE INCLUDES
- I will assist you, the wedding couple, in cancelling your wedding at the above named resort with the wedding coordinator in destination.
- Act as the RSVP point of contact for cancelling guests that were attending the wedding. Invoices will be sent out within 48 hours of any refunded payments from the tour operator.
- Submit any payments from the wedding couple to the appropriate supplier(s) as required, and balance and reconcile with the travel suppliers account.
- We the wedding couple understand we are responsible for any agency, airline or hotel penalties and that they'll be deducted from any refund due or will be paid to the agent upon request and that we are responsible for any chargebacks that are a result of this cancellation.
As the client(s), you will rely on me to work as many hours as may be reasonably necessary to fulfill my obligations under this agreement for the whole duration of the cancellation process for you and all the guests.
You will make payment for our planning fee directly to Tropical Dreams Travel. If litigation occurs, it occurs in the jurisdiction where my office is located and the winning party will be reimbursed for an attorney and legal fees and court costs.
It is your responsibility to notify me Melody Mudryk of any changes in a timely manner in writing. I shall not be held liable for any changes made by you.
Tropical Dreams Travel & Melody Mudryk (the agent) is not responsible for wedding charges or fees with the outcome of the cancelling the wedding & wedding package(s) that is between the couple, resort & on-site wedding coordinator
FEES & PAYMENT SCHEDULE
For my services, you will pay me a total of $850 including GST. Payment will be made as follows:
We agree with the above terms and conditions and engage Tropical Dreams Travel to cancel our destination wedding plans and coordinate all the cancellation details for our group. Tropical Dreams Travel will then be entitled to authorize and charge $850 including GST as remuneration for upfront costs and efforts made on our behalf, and any cancellation fees that will be paid by the couple on the guests behalf, at this time the contract will be dissolved and no future payments will be required.
TERM | TERMINATION
This agreement will terminate automatically upon completion of the services required by this letter of termination.
You understand that this agreement is in place to protect you (the couple) and me (the agent).
CHANGES | CANCELLATIONS
Any changes made to this letter of termination must be made in writing and signed by all parties. Please note that no cancellations will be provided by Tropical Dreams Travel until a signed copy of this agreement has reached our office, and the planning fee retainer, and any cancellation fees are paid in full, at which time the cancellation process of cancelling space with the select tour operator will commence. We will notify you upon receipt of this agreement
This termination agreement only applies to destination wedding planning services provided by Melody Mudryk / Tropical Dreams Travel. This agreement does not represent Resorts, Airlines, and other wedding vendor's services. Additional Termination contracts might need to be signed with Tour Operators, Resorts, Venues, etc, in which case I will guide you.
If your understanding parallels mine, please sign one copy of this letter-your electronic signature also constitutes as a legal signature and your agreement with these terms, and return it to me along with your payment information.
